So I woke up this morning *afternoon*, not so hungry and kinda felt like my stomach shrunk a bit! Perhaps I'm getting used to it?
Anyway, so I started my day with some fresh Carrot + Mint juice (courtesy of my dearest Edita). I don't recommend mint at all! Apparently it's only good with lime and lemon (or a Mojito).

A banana and orange later I decided that I need to get my mind off food (and mostly bread) and booked myself a mani+pedi appointment which consumed another hour and a half of my day.*
*Disclaimer: My days aren't THAT boring, but it's a long weekend.
For lunch, I decided to stick with what works. My favorite salad EVER is a combination of:
- Grilled eggplant slices
- Grilled zucchini slices
- Romaine lettuce
- Rocca leaves
- Pomegranate
- Some cabbage
All mixed in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar
and since I couldn't eat any *cooked* food, I eliminated eggplants and zucchini from the ingredients. It wasn't entirely awful :S

My day finally picks up when I discover some popcorn and ice cream substitutes (those of which I highly recommend).
I found some raw peeled sunflower seeds at Sultan Center. They’re pretty filling and I’m sure are highly nutritious.
Another discovery was ICE CREAM!! All you need is:
- a 10 year old blender (well, that’s what I used)
- 2 bananas
- 10 ice cubes
- 10 strawberries
Then blend, blend, blend and blend! Until the content is creamy, pour into a plastic bowl and voila!*

*I ate half and put the other half in the fridge for tomorrow.
I hope all is insightful for you, it does reflects my painful challenge.
I would like to especially thank you for your comments and sharing your experience (I mean you Ghaliia).
Till the next post!
