Over the past 3 months of so, I've received some pretty peculiar requests to blog about. I've responded to couple and have ignored several!
The most recent request I've received (via a couple of friends) was to include more smoothie recipes. I've collected these recipes from a couple of sources and have selected ones with ingredients easily found in local grocery stores.
Winter smoothie
1 cup frozen berries (any kind)
2 cups fresh spinach
1/4 inch fresh ginger
Water
Choc-mint
2 cups of spinach
10-12 mint leaves
3 bananas
2 table spoons carob powder (found at the herbs and spices shop at any Co-op)
1 cup of water
Yellow & Spice
1/2 head romaine lettuce
1 small pineapple
1 large mango
1 inch fresh ginger
O-mega
3 cups wild purslane (google it)
1 small watermelon
3 limes, juiced
Applesauce
4 apples
1 banana
1 head romaine lettuce
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups of water
