Day 66: ZAIN (the rip-off edition)

On an average Thursday afternoon, I got one of the usual messages that I receive once a month from my ex-dearest Zain (formerly known at MTC).

My average bill ranges between KD 43-45 per month, which to me, makes sense. I pay KD 28 for some saving subscription, KD 14 for my Blackberry service and KD 0.5 for MissU services.

My phone bill is also deducted from my bank account on a monthly basis, where I never have to worry about delayed bills or any of that drama.

This Thursday afternoon, the SMS from Zain indicated that my bill was a whopping KD 208!!

After much argument, complaints and physically going to Zain Head Quarters, I discovered that I was charged KD 120 for the 5 hours that I spent in UAE, transiting to Kuwait.

The KD 120 (around USD 420) was for Internet Roaming during 5 hour stay in Dubai.

Now what do YOU suggest I do?

Boycott Zain? Boycott BB? Do absolutely nothing? Complain some more?
